How to prepare for UPSC Mains

Prelims is just a screening test of the student, final ranking is based on the Mains score and Personality test. So if you are a serious  aspirant of UPSC then you start your preparation as an integrated approach. The syllabus of UPSC is too vast. First of all you have to study the syllabus thoroughly and take a print out of the syllabus. you will download the syllabus from the link given below. 
        UPSC mains exam consists of total nine papers, two are non qualifying and seven are qualifying paper.

  • English language 
  • Regional language paper(one of the 22 language mentioned in the seventh schedule of the constitution)
           Qualifying papers
  • Essay Paper
  • GS 1
  • GS 2
  • GS 3
  • GS 4
  • Optional paper 1
